Uniberso

Gusto kitang araw-araw minumura,

sa pag-asang matigil ang minu-minuto ko sayong pag-mahal.

Pakiramdam ko isa na 'kong santo,

kasi dahil sayo ang dalas kong magdasal.

Mula pagkabata nakababad na 'ko sa paaralan. Pero pagdating sa'yo, para 'kong walang natutunan!

Kasi ang tanga.

Hindi ko sadya pero kapag nakikita ka,

'yung puso ko parang kumakawala.

Wala na 'yung natitira ko sa sarili kong tiwala.

Ayoko nang ganito;

Gusto ko lang maging sa’yo!

Paano ba ang sumuko?

Sabi ko gusto ko nang sumuko sa laban

lalo na kapag walang patutunguhan.

Hindi ganito.

Sumuko --

sumuko ang buo kong pagkatao at puso --

sayo.

Mahirap manakawan.

Kasi sa'yo na, ikaw pa yung nawalan.

Pero paano ang ganitong kalagayan?

Kulang nalang 'yung sarili ko ipagsiksikan.

Hawak mo ang mundo ko;

mga tala at planeta, buwan at kometa --

Ikaw ang kabuuan ng aking uniberso.

At bilang uniberso, batid kong mainam kung ano ang mayroon tayo.

Sa pagitan ng diyan at dito, ng ikaw at ako.

Nais kong iparating sayo ang sidhi ng aking lagablab,

Maupos man ako sa pag-asang matanaw mo ang aking liyab.

Mahal kong uniberso, batid kong mainam kung ano ang mayroon tayo;

Sa pagitan ng diyan at dito, ng ikaw at ako...

Ay isang napakalawak

at nakasisindak

na

espasyo.
